Who are you anyway?
I guess I should probably give some kind of introduction, huh?
My name is Katy Coope, or KT to fellow people who are a bit too online. I grew up in Derbyshire in England and live in Manchester, you can mostly find me doing web development and design but also drawing, singing, writing and teaching. I wear a lot of hats, both figuratively and literally.
I published a couple of How to Draw Manga books when I was in highschool and another while I was finishing up my MA. I got some pretty crippling burnout in my 20s that I’m only just starting to unpick, and care a lot about mental health. I sing with the music circle Harmonicblend, and with an acapella trio called Arbrevyn. I’m also a long distance choir member with Stream of Sound, and I do a fair amount of album design especially around the british folk music scene.
I like lindyhop, cooking, thinking too much about media and getting very excited about it and being a nerd about stationery. I am, as you can tell, extremely cool.
By the way, drink some water. Be kind to yourself.
